Welcome Song and Lullaby Offering for Swami’s Centenary

Editor’s Note: For the Centenary Celebration of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Shri G. Parameswara Rao of Gudivada, AP offers this pair of devotional poems—a song of welcome and a gentle lullaby—expressing the boundless love, peace, and gratitude felt by devotees everywhere. May these verses inspire joy and reflection in every heart.

1. Welcome Song (Swāgata Gīta Puṣpam)
Welcome! A thousand welcomes, O beloved Sai Rama!
We joyfully greet You, O Lord of peace and compassion.
From the beauty of countless ages You have come,
O embodiment of love! O incarnation of divine grace!
We bow to You, O radiant one, who uplifts all hearts.
You are the changeless truth among changing times,
The eternal witness in every heart.
You stand as the pillar of righteousness,
The source of every noble act and thought.
You dwell within all beings as their inner guide,
Revealing Yourself as the light of truth and love.
You are the Lord of peace,
The refuge of devotees who seek You with pure hearts.
O merciful Master, who removes the darkness of ignorance,
Your devotees come before You with faith and devotion.
We celebrate Your divine play,
We sing of Your compassion and love that embrace the world.
Grant us hearts filled with peace,
Lives adorned with selfless service and truth,
So that every being may live in harmony and joy,
In the light of Your endless love.
We offer this song of welcome
At the lotus feet of our beloved Sai.

2. Lullaby Offering (Lālī Pāṭa Puṣpam)
Victory to You, O Swami, on this sacred centenary!
Glory to You, O beautiful one, our dear Sai Rama!
May Your name resound in every home,
May every heart sing, “Sleep peacefully, O Sai, our divine child!”
As a mother cradles her child with love,
So do we cradle You in our hearts with songs of devotion.
O Swami, You have come among us
To awaken love and righteousness in all humanity.
You are the redeemer who protects all beings;
You are the divine mother who wipes every tear.
In the stillness of night,
We sing lullabies of gratitude and peace to You.
“Jō jō Sāyi, sleep in joy, O Sai!
May all beings find rest in Your love!”
O compassionate Lord,
You took form to remove the suffering of the world,
To restore faith, righteousness, and peace.
Even now, Your presence shines in every heart,
Guiding us on the path of love and selfless service.
We offer this gentle song as our garland of devotion,
At Your lotus feet, in humility and love.
Victory to Thee, O Swami!
Victory to Thee, O Sai of infinite grace!
