VISWAM Launches in the Mid-Atlantic
VISWAM, Vedam Invocation and Sai Way of Application, Mid-Atlantic, is a new Region 2 initiative bringing together Vedam practitioners, learners, and anyone interested in learning into one welcoming regional community.
Devotees interested in participating in VISWAM are invited to complete the VISWAM Self-Assessment & Sign-up Form. The form will help the Regional Team understand the experience and learning needs of participants throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and shape future opportunities for practice, instruction, guidance, correction, and mentorship.
VISWAM was formally initiated on August 8 at the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Bronx during its Guru Poornima observance. The initiation was followed by Abhishekam and Ekadasa Rudram, interspersed with Bhajans, marking the first official offering of VISWAM to Bhagawan.
Strengthen, Apply, Inspire
The purpose of VISWAM is expressed through three letters:
S – Strengthen Vedam practice through shared practice, guidance, learning, and mentorship.
A – Apply the deeper truths and values of the Vedas in daily life.
I – Inspire others to learn Vedam by creating a welcoming community for people at every level.
The VISWAM logo also reflects a spirit of unity across faith traditions, placing the practice of Vedam within Bhagawan’s larger message of the unity of religions and the universal values that underlie all spiritual paths.
VISWAM is open to experienced chanters, those currently learning, complete beginners who would like to learn, and those who simply wish to listen and participate.

The responses will help the Regional Team understand the experience and learning needs throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and plan future practice sessions, instruction, guidance, correction, mentorship, and other learning opportunities.
