Vishva Karma

Why do you like me?
It must be there is a connection to
Thee and i
There must be a tie that makes You like me
despite me, because in truth there is no
reason for You to like me when i learn of all
that i have done
But what if i did not do it
But what if i watched it from my theater
seat and only felt as though i were the doer
with my ego assisting along the way
With my ego becoming attached and willing
all that happened to happen
unless of course
i fought the urge, the tendency
These thoughts occur as i contemplate
Your love and our oneness
Surely there is no reason i can see for
Your loving me
So there must be a tie that spans all
phenomenon,
all action, all karma
That makes You my constant loving All,
regardless of what i do or don’t do
Be not disappointed in me Vishva-Karma*,
The Maker of All Things, for i am Your
creation and,
If, at times, You are saddened by my behavior,
forgive me.
