Service as a Way of Life
In this interview from Sai SOUL 100, Sai Lakshmi Rao shares cherished memories of her close interactions with Sri Sathya Sai Baba during her early years. She recalls playful moments, such as eating from His plate as a child, and discusses how she came to understand and learn the true meaning of service. Sai Lakshmi narrates stories of Swami’s interactions with her and her granduncle and grandaunt whom she calls as grandparents. Swami affectionately referred to them as Hanumantha Rao and Parvathamma. In fact, Swami was like a child in the presence of Parvathamma.
