Your body is a boat that can take you across the sea of illusion, of false multiplicity. Keep it trim ’till this is achieved. Keep it light and bright. Don’t add to its weight by attachment to things and others, for there is danger of sinking during the voyage.

When you are depressed by loss, engage yourselves in the recitation of the divine name. That will give you courage, consolation, and a true perspective. Think of the distress and calamity that the saints underwent with enthusiastic welcome. People laughed at them and called them mad, but they knew that they were in the grace hospital of God, not the mental hospital of man.
