Spiritual Revolution
Millions of years of upward struggle have produced the present human society. Thousands of seers and sages in all lands have taught man to see the truth that underlies the panorama of creation, to adore the Creator and to practice the virtues of humility, equanimity, and service so that the spark of God that is enshrined in his heart might reveal its full glory.
But man has brought human society to the verge of total destruction! He has used his intelligence to pollute the land he lives on, the air he breathes and the water that is the very source of his life. He has turned the mind, which is the instrument of his liberation into a chain that keeps him in bondage. He has use methods of education, codes of law, systems of politics, modes of commerce, and results of science to imprison himself in prejudices, creeds, and nationalities. The world is becoming smaller and smaller with rapid increase in the speed of communications, but neighborly love is nowhere evident. Man truly lives when he feels one with all.
A revolution more powerful and pervasive than any that man has undergone so far is now on. It is the Spiritual Revolution. It sharpens the inner vision of man so that he can see the atmic reality. Its impact will surely envelop and enrich all the human communities and transform mankind into a stream of seekers flowing smoothly to the limitless sea of Divinity….
The revolution has love as both the means and the end. It will awaken the springs of love all over the world in the fields of education, morality, law, politics, commerce, and science. It will inspire man to do service reveling in brotherhood of man and the fatherhood of God. Anyone, wherever he lives, whatever his status, and whichever his faith, can share in this revolution and be an instrument for the liberation of mankind from its ignorance.
The task of every one is to do the duty that has come upon him, with a full sense of responsibility, to the utmost of his capacity. There should be complete coordination between what one feels, says, and does. Work is the best form of worship…. I call upon everyone to fill the world with joy. Service to the human community is the best offering you can make to the Sovereign Lord.

Love is the only savior, the only refuge. Man may project many plans for securing world peace, but it can be established only through a spiritual revolution by means of love.
Loka samasthaah sukhino bhavantu—May all the worlds be happy. We must sacrifice everything for realizing that goal. That is the ideal set before us. Thyagenaike Amrutatwa Manasuh—By sacrifice alone can immortality be gained.
